Ready to use thin-bed adhesives for fixing ceramic tiles on most types of interior surfaces, including gypsum, plasterboard, wood, asbestos sheets and etc.
Suitable for fixing ceramic tiles on walls and floors.
Can be used on surfaces such as dry wall, wood, cement surface and cement fiber board.
Application:
Ensure surfaces to be tiled must be flat, sound and free from dust, grease or other foreign material.
Mixing
PYE TILE ADHESIVE is supplied ready to use and no prior mixing is required.
Application
Apply PYE TILE ADHESIVE with a notched trowel and the press the tiles firmly against the layer of adhesive. Well- formed ribs are essential for good adhesion. The thin-bed adhesive should not be greater than 3mm in thickness. Do not spread too large an area at a time. Tiles should be fixed within 20 minutes of application; otherwise surface drying before tiles are pressed home can result in poor adhesion. Working time will vary according to the porosity of the surface and atmospheric conditions. Ceramic tile are fixed dry and should not be pre-soaked. Press firmly in place with a slight twisting action. Allow spacing of about 2mm around every tile. (Spacer lugs may be used)
NEVER fix ceramic tiles with tight joints. For paper mounted mosaic tiles, the backing paper can be removed 2 hours after application by damping it slightly. Excessive adhesive can be removed immediately with water after application. Grouting can be done when tiles are firmly set. We recommend using PYE GROUT.
Cleaning of Equipment
Clean all tools and application equipment with clean water immediately after use. Hardened or cured material can only be removed mechanically.

Storage Conditions
Store properly in dry conditions, in undamaged and unopened, original sealed packaging. Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, water and moisture.
